Work permits: Diplomatic missions and consular offices of Spain in Latin American countries have as one of their functions the proceedings for the Work Permits for foreign workers who wish to come to exercise their profession in Spain. Although the employer usually performs this formality, it may also be performed by the worker at a consular office if the employer does not comply with his/her obligations or if the worker is performing an activity on his/her own behalf.
